The handcrafted Model BCC1 floating console is a striking contemporary piece, designed and made in England using traditional cabinetmaking techniques. Constructed from selected prime oak, this bold wall-mounted design features two stacked and joined drawer boxes separated by a refined shadow rebate detail, creating a strong architectural presence.

The four drawers are fitted with premium soft-close mechanisms and accented with sculpted rounded handles of rich American black walnut. Visible splined mitre joints celebrate the construction itself, revealing the craftsmanship and structural integrity behind the piece while adding a distinctive visual signature.

Designed as a versatile floating furniture piece, the BCC1 works beautifully as a console table, hallway feature, media shelf, or display unit.

The console is mounted using a traditional French cleat fixing system, providing a secure and reliable installation method, with additional concealed screw fixing points if required.

A single box two drawer variation is also available to order, and further customisations may be possible within practical parameters. Please enquire to discuss bespoke sizing, timber choices, or design adjustments.

We create bold and distinctive furniture with a focus on combining contemporary design alongside the inherent beauty, character, and structural properties of exceptional natural materials. Timber selection is made specifically for each design, considering the grain, colour, strength, and visual impact.

By embracing and showcasing these naturally occurring, we continue to produce idiosyncratic and tactile pieces with lasting presence and authenticity.

Traditional cabinet making displays the unmistakable tactile quality of hand-built furniture. Slight nuances and individual characteristics are embraced as part of the authenticity of the work.

Each piece is entirely handmade in very small numbers by our highly skilled craftspeople in England and finished in durable eco-friendly oils designed to enhance and protect the timber. Built to be used and enjoyed for generations to come.
