Beautifully hand-turned and handcrafted in solid English ash, this ebonised side table is a sculptural study in form, texture, and material. Designed and made by our craftsman in England, the piece explores the expressive traditional turning techniques with bold contemporary design.
The circular top features a refined ripple turned underside, introducing movement and shadow play that subtly changes with light and viewpoint. This detailing is echoed in the base which reflects the series of concentric turned circles, creating a harmonious architectural symmetry.
Ebonised to deepen the natural grain and enhance contrast, the English ash retains its organic character, revealing subtle traces of texture within the wood. The piece is completed with a highly durable Osmo oil finish, providing a resilient surface while preserving a soft, tactile quality.
A balance of sculpture and utility, the design works equally well as a side table, accent piece, or standalone object within both contemporary and traditional interiors.
