The distinctive surface texture is achieved through a carefully controlled sandblasting process. Multiple stages of sandblasting selectively remove the softer growth rings, revealing the timber's beautiful undulating grain structure and creating a richly tactile surface with exceptional depth and visual interest. This process accentuates the natural beauty of the Sequoia, producing a finish that is both organic and sculptural.
Each lamp is hand-finished in environmentally friendly oil, enhancing the warmth and colour of the timber while providing durable protection. The result is a piece that feels as beautiful to the touch as it appears visually.
Available with either brass or chrome electrical fittings to suit your interior and personal preference. The stated height includes the metal lamp fitting. As every lamp is individually handcrafted from natural timber, dimensions may vary slightly, further emphasising the unique nature of each piece.
