Our large K2 drawer nightstand is handcrafted from premium American black walnut and quarter-sawn English oak.

The upper cabinet is defined by beautifully exposed hand-cut dovetail joints, an enduring hallmark of fine furniture making, and houses a generously proportioned drawer constructed using the same time-honoured technique. A subtle shadow rebate separates the cabinet from the base, creating a sense of lightness and visual depth, while a softly sculpted curve flows seamlessly around the legs and across the fascia, lending elegance and refinement to the overall angular form.

Every piece is designed and handcrafted in England by our highly skilled craftspeople before being hand-finished in durable natural oils that enhance the richness of the timber while providing lasting protection for everyday use.

We use only the finest black walnut and quarter-sawn English oak, an exceptional material prized by master furniture makers for centuries. Although more demanding and costly to produce, quarter-sawn oak offers remarkable stability and reveals striking medullary rays that create a unique and highly decorative figuring. These natural characteristics are celebrated rather than concealed, becoming an integral part of the design and ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical.

Rooted in traditional English joinery yet influenced by the clean lines and confident forms of European modernism, the K1 is an original design that balances heritage with contemporary expression. Produced in very small numbers, each piece receives our attention to detail and bears the subtle telltale signs of the craftsperson's hand.

Bespoke options are available, allowing dimensions to be tailored to your requirements or alternative timbers.

Our philosophy is simple: to create bold, distinctive, idiosyncratic furniture that celebrates the inherent beauty, strength, and character of exceptional timber. By combining thoughtful design with traditional craftsmanship, we produce pieces that are not only functional but deeply tactile, visually engaging, and built to endure for generations.
