Model SVC1 Oak Drawer Console Table is a bold and refined piece of handcrafted furniture, designed and produced in England using traditional furniture making techniques.
Crafted from the finest quarter-sawn English oak, the design celebrates both exceptional materials and honest construction. The drawer cabinet is detailed with beautifully exposed hand-cut dovetail joints, whilst the internal drawer component is individually crafted from solid English quarter-sawn oak using the same time honoured methods. These traditional joints are not merely decorative but form an integral part of the structure, expressing the craftsmanship invested in every piece.
The clean architectural form is complemented by handmade leather finger pulls (or matching wooden handles), introducing a subtle tactile contrast to the rich warmth of the walnut. Designed to be wall-fixed, the vanity is secured through discreet fixing holes concealed behind the drawers, creating an exceptionally rigid installation while maintaining the purity of the design.
The legs simply unscrew, allowing the piece to be dismantled for safer transportation and straightforward reassembly.
Hand-finished in highly durable natural oils, the oak develops a beautifully tactile surface while revealing the depth, colour, and figure of the timber. Every piece is individually bench-made by our skilled craftspeople in England and bears the telltale signs of the maker's hand.
