A subtle shadow rebate separates the cabinet from the base, creating a sense of lightness and visual depth, while a softly sculpted curve flows seamlessly around the legs and across the fascia, lending elegance and refinement to the overall angular form.
Every piece is designed and handcrafted in England by our highly skilled craftspeople before being hand-finished in durable natural oils that enhance the richness of the timber while providing lasting protection for everyday use. These particular versions were finished with slight grey toned oil but pure finish and other options are available.
We use only the finest quarter-sawn English oak, an exceptional material prized by master furniture makers for centuries. Although more demanding and costly to produce, quarter-sawn oak offers remarkable stability and reveals striking medullary rays that create a unique and highly decorative figuring.
