Handmade in England using time honoured furniture making techniques, the design is distinguished by prominent hand-cut dovetail joinery that remains visible across the principal surfaces, celebrating both the skill of the maker and the integrity of the construction. These carefully executed joints form an integral part of the design, creating a bold architectural character while showcasing the craftsmanship invested in every piece.
The upper section incorporates spacious drawers with solid oak internal carcasses, while three cupboards below provide generous concealed storage, each fitted with internal shelving for practical everyday use. Particular attention is paid to timber selection, with each board carefully chosen and arranged so that the grain flows continuously across the drawer fronts and cupboard doors, creating a harmonious and uninterrupted façade.
Fine quality solid brass hinges provide smooth and reliable operation while complementing the warmth of the timber. Alternative hardware, including chrome and other options, are available upon request to suit individual preferences and interiors.
