Solid English oak contemporary refectory dining table by James Torble. Handcrafted with wedged mortice and tenon joints on the legs and wiggly feet. Based on traditional construction, with a chunkier and playful twist.
This table is made from solid timber, intelligent use of joinery pulls the form together in a robust way. The legs are attached knocking the 'keys' through the tenons to lock the pieces together to assemble or disassemble the table.
This is a traditional joinery method that locks the tenon in place and creates a sturdy and durable piece of furniture.
The wiggly feet give the table a cheerful and playful character. A modern take on traditional farmhouse tables.
Dimensions: W 1290mm x D 690mm x H 750mm, finished with Danish oil.
