Taking inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement this striking contemporary design can inhabit many a style of interior space. The oak undergoes a highly skilful scorching technique which requires many very gentle applications of flame until the surface is perfectly blackened. The jet black finish is contrasted with the inset of wedged construction joints and a shallow dish of Yew.
