This fumed and raw English Oak cabinet ties a rail/hatstand and a cabinet into one for quite an atypical cabinet construction.

A long halving joint, cut in the four octagonal

uprights has the cabinet hang in between the

structure that rises high above and is joined and tied at the top with a cross-rail.

The empty space between the rail and the cabinet suggests

a place for things; perhaps a plant, lamp or picture frame.

Versatility is the key. The Rod cabinet can also be

made in bespoke sizes.

Handmade to order in London. Finished in Osmo wax/oil.
